Are most of them anyway? FLW, TR, SOTEOTN, KFAD are the only ones we know for sure and we don't know if they were 'rejected'. I should ban myself if I've missed a BDI interview, but how do we "know" this? The Roller was mentioned around Heathen Chemistry and the recorded gig before DOYS was called SOTEOTN. Don't know about the other two though.

I think Andy had said KFAD was an Oasis song and SOTEOTN was used for the Black Island Studio's warm up gig before DOYS.

Wait, when did Liam say FLW was an old Oasis tune? Doesn't detract from the song being mega, but for some reason I'm disappointed, thinking it had a good riddance Noel sentiment I should've known, Andy wouldn't dare write anything so scathing aimed at Noel. The more I listen to it the more I enjoy everything on the album. Even the weaker tracks are better than the weak tracks on the last five Oasis records.

I might have a bit hasty actually, the falsetto on Waiting for the Rapture couldn't be pulled off by Liam. BUT THAT'S IT Could have squeezed in a SHIIIIIIINNNNNEEEEEEE though.

Wait, when did Liam say FLW was an old Oasis tune? Doesn't detract from the song being mega, Wait...I thought the all-staff email said we were to stop saying things were 'mega', in 2003? (...said the guy who still occasionally calls Noel 'The Chief.') If The Chief rejected 'kill for a dream' then my faith in The Chief's track selection just went back up for the first time since he left 'boy with the blues' off the last album instead of 'ain't got nothing'. MEGA!

My degree of madferitness is at it's highest since Lyla aired on polish radio in 2005, so such words and expressions like "I could be wrong, but..." have been resurging this week. DOYS didn't elicit that same madferit response for whatever reason (although I did/do rate it highly).

i am glad everyone thinks highly of Shock of the Lightning! one of the very best 2008, and agree one of the best of Oasis.
