15 minutes late for work this morning after I skipped breakfast to make an attempt at tagging this and shoving it on my mp3 player.

First impressions? Good. Some absolutely abysmal lyrics and far too many lalalalas, but that's made up for the fact that Liam has such a great ear for a melody.

Low point: Kill for a Dream - great guitar tone ruined by the fact the song sounds like Rock Star by fucking Nickelback

FIRST LISTEN THOUGHTS

1-6 all quality. The Roller has grown on me lots lately I've done this a few times lately with singles not liking them then hearing them on a record & deciding they sound good.
For Anyone - Kill For A Dream dull. First one was bland, the other dull.
edge of the noise AHA-YEAH!! Just smashed my TV.
Wigwam - Sounded completely shit. Goes nowhere until the end built up. I'll probably lap it up live COMING UP, IM COMING UP. Probably get richard ashcroft out to do the backing vox
3 ring circus - I like this but cant help it could of done with something more, the guitars seem a bit too simple in parts but yeah, I'll have that. guitar in the last 30 seconds is powerful
the beat goes on - I can see loads of people ripping this one to shreds but fuck it, liam sounds beautiful Will probably cry at the troxy to this. Also, could this be the record for Liam singing 'song' on one track? TUNE
the morning son - didn't do much for me. Was real excited for this after all the comments, just seemed kind of dull & passed me by.

Overall on first listen I'd say it's pretty good. Some duff tracks & some shit lyrics but I think Liam and the other 2 have done themselves proud. Could of turned out to be completely shit & it's far from that.

gonna give it some time before i review it but on first listen, it's pretty good. early standouts are four letter word, the beat goes on, morning son and standing on the edge of the noise. i'm quite happy i am getting less of a contact high than usual, i get the feeling it will grow as a record
