Great list man.

Though I've never ever understood the love for that Kinks album. I actually think parts of it are completely embarrassing & Ray's songs are far too tongue in cheek. I'd rather somebody stamped on my face a 1000 times than to ever have to hear apeman again.

I've never even heard of Sweet Exorcist so I'll definitely be checking that out.

Yeah Apeman is quite shit but ive never felt it was on the album as anything else but a novelty. The rest of the album Ive always loved, great little concept with a nicely told storyline. Idk, normally all that satirical, theatrical stuff would get on my tits as well, but it works here. And then you have classics as ''Strangers'' and ''This Time Tomorrow'' which are fucking great.

I just saw that all albums Curtis Mayfield did from ''Curtis'' up till ''There's No Place like America Today'' ive rated 5 or 4.5, so I might be a bit biased . Great album tho, that one and ''Got to Find a Way'' from the same year. The man was a genius.
