Wow woah WOW. Steady Barny, steady.
ABORTION of a list? That list contains the three best LPs from probably the three greatest artists of the 70s - namely David Bowie, Iggy Pop and CAN. 'Lust for Life' is a candidate for the greatest hard rock n' roll album EVER, of any fucking decade, and 'Low', as I've said before on here, was Bowie's absolute creative peak. Tago Mago simply has to be heard to be believed. People bang on about Kraftwerk, but none of their 70s output matches CAN in terms of sheer imagination, invention, dynamic and sheer bloody POWER.
But anyway, that's besides the point, which is, those five choices say more about the 70s than a boring list of fifty ever could. HERE'S MY 47th FAVE RECORD OF THE 70s GUYS!! Give a shit.
That Eno LP is something else as well, and something I thought deserved to be flagged up

Ok, so those records have gotten the attention of the audience now. Wah-wah-wow. Abortion, as incomplete. And shit, as SHIT. No surprise then that you've need two decades to record an album, I'm sure the wait will be worth, considering your majestic influences.
And now, my son, will you post a list with 20 albums or will it be as hurtful as 20 births?

Aerosmith - Toys in the Attic, Rocks, Get Your Wings and the self-titled debut.
just cause everything's been mentioned except these. honestly if you like 70s rock and overlook these albums it's you're own fault. look em up on all music.

This is never gonna happen. I thought the other day, it's been at least 3 years since we had a GREATEST ALBUMS OF ALL TIME list on the soapbox. Shame dan DELETED the board, would of been cool to see the old lists how they've varied. I remember removing JP from my life for moving the stone roses down to 2nd place last time we did a list.. probably wouldn't be my number one now either I feel so dirty

Edit - CCR called up off the bench, only listened to it once but it sounded fairly decent.
