Some of those comments on the Guardian site are just awful. It's the same predictable barrel of pish that's rolled out everytime a Gallagher is mentioned in any article. ''THEY'RE JUST A BEATLES RIP-OFF BAND!!"$ etc etc, LIAM IS SUCH A DICK blah blah.
The Guardian's music coverage is pretty decent, but it's definitely let down by the sneering arseholes who dismiss anything that's vaugely popular in the comments section. Wouldn't be so bad if they seemed to know what they were talking about, but it's all just embittered middle-aged, boring wankers spouting the usual cliches.
