id never plan on getting big at field day. will cost about 100quid just to get a bit tipsy the amount they charge for a tin I'd pay twenty grand to get half cut with Barny. |

Have we got numbers for this? I've been trying to find somewhere to stay, might fly down on the Friday and crash with family but I'm looking for a travelodge or sumfink for the Saturday as I plan on getting BIG. Anyone seen any good deals? you can crash at mine if you want. got 3 or 4 staying but i'm sure you can stay too. might fist you in the middle of the night, mind. |

im pretty certain il be there again though not got a ticket sorted yet.
though il just be coming down with a mate on the saturday morning so wont be around for any friday night festivities.
just having another look at the lineup, it is pretty great this year isnt it. got a feeling theyll be some shitty clashes mind you. ive not really researched any of the bands ive not heard of but at a quick glance id love to see the majority of the following...

My obligations are Ariel Pink, Gruff, The Coral and The Horrors. Anna Calvi and Veronica Falls I'll see on Benicassim so I wouldn't mind if they clashed with some other act.
About the Friday night thing, I can consider it.

was chatting with karl and kev last night and i suggested on the back of something kev said, that if we can get 5-6 soapboxers, we should book out a karaoke booth on the friday. it would go down in forum history.

Cross Keys has been closed for a while, they've started turning it into something else recently but fuck knows. The Dog & Sausage changed to Milly Mulgrew's but that'd closed now too. Renfrew is absolutely dire for pubs in general. |
