Ringo Starr has announced a six-date June UK tour.
The former Beatles sticksman will play the dates with his All-Starr Band, who currently feature multi-instrumentalist Edgar Winter, as well as six other musicians, in its line-up.
The tour begins at TCOTU's Hampton Court Palace on June 17 and finishes at Bournemouth International Centre one week later.
Ringo Starr And His All-Starr Band will play:
TCOTU Hampton Court Palace (June 17) Liverpool Empire (18) Birmingham Symphony Hall (20) Manchester Opera House (22) Glasgow Clyde Auditorium (23) Bournemouth International Centre (24)

60 quid I think I'll be leaving it. Even though he's got at least 10 immense solo tunes. What we really need is another McCartney tour already.

I've not heard that tune for I reckon a good 3 or so years. It was fucking huge at the time, was on mtv2 every 5 minutes.
I got the record from a bootsale for a quid shortly after it came out, had a bonus DVD with Ringo playing drums with him, powerful stuff.

I don't know, however the single United States Of America was an unexpected 10th in the UK singles chart & up until 2007 was the shortest song to appear in the UK charts. Also, Steve Lamacq of BBC Radio 1 declared it "the greatest single of 2002".

Yeah, I thought it's gotta be worth a quid especially with the bonus DVD. Record was shit & I only ever heard it once or twice but I had fun watching him and Ringo rock out on the DVD so I was happy with my purchase.
