I'm definitely going to this. 75 quid seems so fucking steep though but I'll have to bite the bullet. Full lineup.

Yeah only two bands worth seeing. Saturday isn't that much better tbh, bar a couple of acts. Ok maybe 4.

Just to avoid any confusion guys, I'm only on about going the one day. They do this every year and have a shit day and a good one. I'm still tempted as I'm desperate to see Morrissey again. I only saw him the once & after the first four songs I thought to myself that it was the best gig I'd ever seen. Unfortunately after that he just did a set of his new material which kind of bombed in Ally Pally as the energy levels just died down. Had no luck any other time, he clashed with BRMC at Glasto 04, I got chucked out of V so didn't see him in 06 & he' canceled on me a couple of times as well.
I reckon as he has ANOTHER FUCKING greatest hits out in April & the fact he has no new music to promote he'll get the hits out. Also desperate to see the Stooges again & Patti Smith & Lou Reed are two artists that I doubt I'd ever pay to see but would love to see perform at a festival.

The rest of the lineup is a bit irrelevant on the saturday as anything good on the other stages will only clash with those 4 anyway.

I think I'll leave it until a few weeks before & check Ebay. I don't think it will fully sellout so anyone who can't go is going to have to take a loss on their tickets surely. If I could get a pair for 110 or under I'd be happy with it.

I thought Iggy had stopped touring with The Stooges after Ron's death. I hope I still can catch him...

Its the Raw Power era line-up now (well obviously without Ron on bass, I assume Mike Watt will still be playing bass for them) and James Williamson is back in the fray as the lead guitarist
