For people who love rating stuff: film x versus film y, which is better? and repeat... FOR ETERNITY, sounds like heaven to me. www.flickchart.com/

I've seen it before, whilst it's fun I guess I don't think the idea works as people will always pick a film they've seen over one they have not, therefor in most cases the big famous film will always outweigh the french drama from the 70's.
Stick with RYM, we are such cool dons on there!

You just click 'I haven't seen it' if you haven't seen it. Helps to perfect your rym star ratings too, I've found I've actually preferred 3 star films to 3.5 star films and all sorts! And it's thrown up loads of films I forgot I saw, which I can now rate as well :boner: It's probably best you're not on there though, you might get mad seeing The Social Network in my top 30

I was addicted to it for a bit when it first came out but got tired of the rating system after a while. I kept trying to manipulate my top 20 by pitting one movie vs another. That's when I got tired of it and gave up.

I signed up after you made your thread, spent an hour on the fucking thing then decided this wasn't the way I wanted to spend the rest of my life.

Bored of it now too tbh Was good for reminding me about films I'd forgotten I'd seen and ironing out some all important rym star ratings once and for all but after that you'd have to really care (and have consistent opinions) to make a proper go of it. They're apparently bringing out a music one someday too, I look forward to another fortnight of intense rating before losing interest again
