Was considering going to the Pulp Leeds day if it was on the Friday but a) I'm gonna be flying to Vancouver on the Sunday anyway, and b) Pulp not headlining would be disappointing. Plus I'm a Strokes fan but they're just not a great festival band IMO.

Pulp are headlining at Leeds, Strokes at Reading.

Ah reet, can only make the Reading day anyway as I'm flying on the Leeds Sunday. Think I'm gonna get hold of a Wireless ticket once and for all, have a feeling that'll be the best of these outdoor Pulp gigs to go to, theyre the biggest band on the bill by far there so the crowd will be the most up for it.

The big uk festival lineups are so predictable these days. I could of guessed three quarters of that bill without even seeing the poster.

Shit Horse, Tucker and The Darkness headlining. Now THAT would be a surprise.

why are Muse headlining? they headlined Glastonbury last year and have released nothing since, really poor choice, think i'll do Leeds for the day for Pulp, My Chemical Romance can fuck off.

Beady Eye and literally alongside the horrors and metronomy, the only good act ive heard of in that left hand column. its fucking dire.
Middle is a bit better THE STROKES. Crystal Castles, Janes Addiction, PULP, the national, the kills and two door cinema club worth a look.
The right is pretty shite too. Interpol for past glories, Pete Doherty, warpaint, the streets and the view (for a beer up) is all that captures me there. Muse say nothing to me about my life.
so i mean theres bit and pieces there for me, but its thin i reckon especially compared to some this year. theres one mindblowing day or 2 good ones for me. a 3rd no chance.
