Was listening to a soul/funk compilation yesterday and stumbled across Strawberry Letter #23.
"Phenomonal tune", I thought, and headed off to search for some of his albums.
Been listening to Freedom Flight since last night and it's a great, great record. The fella was way ahead of his time. Also had a little listen of the Kooper Session he did with Al Kooper which sounds fairly maginficent.
