But still, some very old players in there - I mean Wes Brown wtf? Fair play he's a decent player but in 2 years (which is ultimately the next "test") then what's he gonna be like? Same goes for Lampard, Terry, Gerrard etc etc. Fucking daft tbh.

But yeah on the flipside it's good to see some youngsters in there n that. But you just know the above mentioned players will feature quite largely in the game.

Would have gone 50/50 with fringe players and kids myself, don't think I can stomach seeing the usual suspects like Cole, Terry, Gerrard, Lampard and Rooney in an England shirt anytime soon

I don't blame him, he's been treated like shit by England the last few years.

I'm a Rovers fan and I actually think Robbo comes off as quite petty. He's only become good for us over the last season or so but before that he made mistakes for England against Russia and Croatia, wasn't performing well for Spurs or for us really when he first joined.
Now he deserves his place in the squad, has a chance to stake his claim with no clear number 1 but has thrown his chance away. He's only 30 too, could have easily gone to the next WC if he'd impressed.
