Surely Joe Hart is the best candidate for future number 1 at the moment? He probably is the best candidate but he's not established in the England side and has hardly played for England. Robbo is currently in as good form, is more experienced but at 30 isn't too old to be playing in the next WC either. It's a moot point now anyway but at least if Robbo was in the side now was probably the best time to try and force his way to number 1 again. |

I would fuck it right off. If it was a case of all that is supposed to go with representing your country I would be in but it's not. The team is riddled with cunts and politics, and everything off the field from the FA management to the tabloid intrusion to the shitbags who go to England games musts just be complete bollox.
I would have gone to Florida to dance with hot chicks as opposed to that World Cup everyday of the week. The only English World Cup winner was Wayne Bridge.

According to the news before, Capello doesn't want the youngsters being put through all the booing etc, so they'll be coming on at half time.
Pretty much agree with abs there aswell.
