So did anyone catch this on BBC 2 on Monday night at 9pm? I was intrigued by the adverts I had seen previously but still didn't really know what the show was about.
Basically it focuses on how machines/computers, rather than empower us, enslave us and how they directly and indirectly cause massive issues linked with globalisation and banking. It began by linking the whole narrative together with Ayn Rand's theory of 'Objectivism'.
I'm not going to attempt to explain it any further but I highly advise people get it watched. I think there's another 2 episodes, based around different issues relating to machines.
Very unexpected to see such a program aired on TV these days. I only hope it got the audience it deserved.

Machines were supposed to make us free from demeaning tasks. But unfortunately machines are owned by people who'd rather throw us out.

Just watched the latest episode. A very rum affair indeed.
I had literally no idea about the background (or very litte) to the congolese war. Shocking stuff tbh.
