So yer Coldplay are back with a new tune.
I know Baz is a HUGE fan, so here it bloody is then
I actually really liked that last album, and thought it was their best since the debut
So where does everyone stand on this lot these days?

I don't care.
The last album was decent. Strawberry swing was a tune but I really couldn't care less about hearing any new material from them. There are a 1000 other bands I need to hear before bothering with another Coldplay record.

speaking of bands I don't care about just read this about the Kaiser Chiefs record that they are releasing for free today:
ARTIST Kaiser Chiefs ALBUM The Future Is Medieval LABEL B-Unique RELEASE DATE June 3 BITRATE 320CBR

The Future Is Medieval is the fourth album by Kaiser Chiefs, released through their website on June 3, 2011. The album's promotion is unique in that it gives fans the opportunity to create their own version of the record by choosing their favourite 10 tracks from the selection of 20 on offer, as well as being able to customize their own artwork. They will also be able to share their version of the record with other people once it has been created, and earn £1 each time it is purchased by someone else.
So you can download all 20 tracks for free. Make your own 10 track CD then try to flog it to somebody who could just download it for free anyway?
Have they thought this through properly?

I liked the last album quite a bit too, although Glass of Water should have been on there. Not excited about this tune so far though. Seems a bit by the numbers imo.

Listening to Coldplay is the equivalent of going to see the hangover 2. What's the point?

I dont mind some of their work. I still love the debut. I really like a lot of songs on Rush and the b-sides from the first two records, but the next two were eh, although Viva was better than X&Y.
This song is fucking crap though.

There was a great story in the Leeds paper one week about how someone tried to run the lead singer over (the driver clearly had the right idea) but he did his ''trademark jump'' to ride the bonnet and escape unharmed.
