You know a guitar part in a song, solo/lick whatever that really gets the blood pumping & makes you wanna smash shit up. What are yours?
Got Remember Me on now by BSP, I wish all guitars sounded this huge.
Also, the solo in another girl, another planet makes me stick my chest out and fight stuff.

Both of them are great shouts Karl. I've also just stuck on Paperback Writer, Paul & George's sound on that and And Your Bird Can Sing is fantastic. I'm also particularly proud of the guitar tone I got on the album version of Favourites...

My favourite Stones guitar moment is probably the interplay between Mick Taylor & Keef on Can't You Hear Me Knocking.

I'm fond of Kevin Shields in general, but his wee lead guitar part in Come In Alone makes me feel a bit giddy. Hendrix's solo in Voodoo Child pretty much owns any other. He's never mentioned on here but Robin Guthrie of the Cocteau Twins is just brilliant, no one sounded like him twenty years ago and no one sounds like him now. Lorelei off Treasure is just brilliant.
Glad you mentioned Noble out of BSP Karl, he's probably one of the best guitarists of the 00s. He really finds his stride on Open Season, Oily Stage and Please Stand Up are both just glorious.

The 20 or so seconds of winding, uplifting guitar somewhere near the end of Echoes by the Floyd is some exciting guitar sounds for sure.

This filth makes me want to fight the same things as Karl's fighting as long as he's talking about brick walls, pavements and red post boxes.

I've posted this before but it bears a repost. Some of the sounds in the break down - build up - drop from about the 3 min mark (but watch the whole thing cos it's amazing) are great. Pure dirt next to chiming bell like sounds and others.
God I wish I'd been at this.
