Last.fm's compatibility reports are skewed. There's this guy, for instance: we're supposed to be pretty compatible since we've both been playing stuff by Wild Nothing, Tame Impala, Local Natives et Okkervil River, even tough the latter is the only one I actually care for.
(It's the same thing with Amazon trying to sell me CDs and books I've looked up because I wanted to put them up for sale!)

I gave up wishing for that site to be totally accurate years back. Now i'm quite happy if it gets my listening habits mostly right. Its just a way of saying "Look, this is the kinda shit i like" so you don't have to bother telling people. Those 20 seconds are precious
