The truth is he sounds quite good. But the truth is the slower BDI numbers performed live don't really move me at all.

Unfortunately, Themis is right. Everytime someone who went to a gig mentions good vocals by Liam, I go and check videos out on Youtube, always to find him unnecessarily pushing his voice. It may not be as bad as it used to be in the late 00s, but still--it's like he can't help it. EDIT: just played Wigwam from the CBS's set and he wasn't pushing is voice, so I take some of that back. EDIT2: I also like how Andy doesn't sound like he's trying to overpower the lead singer when he sings backing vocals...

EDIT2: I also like how Andy doesn't sound like he's trying to overpower the lead singer when he sings backing vocals... ;D ;D ;D This is one of the biggest improvements from Oasis to Beady Eye, I reckon. It sounds like Liam sings a lot of his own backing vocals on the record, but live it works really well with Gem doubling Liam's parts and Andy adding harmonies. Noel's backing vocal arrangements were never exactly discrete, and they sounded fucking rank live.
