I love stc, especially this bit where the drums kick in at the end. I just hope he drops that echo-y "sound, sound, sound" bit (or is it round, can't remember) will be a perfect close to an album
Having said that tho I strongly believe next yrs record will be ultimately considered to be noels masterpiece

I think it's worth stating that Noel is one who went out of his comfort zone and did the record that will probably turn off a lot of Oasis fans. Liam only knows how to do one thing, write a three minute rock song. Sometimes he hits it, sometimes he doesn't but that's what his voice suits for the most part. Noel has more range and will be free to do lots of different things during his solo career.
I'm excited to hear this first album more because it's safer and will most likely be likable right away, but it will be interesting to hear the album next year too.

Anyone can go read Noel's interviews and in pretty much every single one he'll make some snidey little dig about Liam, usually calling him thick, or a thug, or a drunk or a drunk thick thug. Proper horrible snidey passive aggressive bullshit. Laughing at his his early song writing, refusing to let anyone else writes songs etc.
He thrived on this control and he saw Liam making a sucess of his clothing line and simply couldn't handle it. Liam's as much a part of oasis as you, you tit, just let him have a little advert in HIS programme.

High Flying Birds is not the greatest name for a backup band. I guess the same to be said with Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers or Paul McCartney & Wings. Jakob Dylan did had better names like Gold Mountain Rebels..
Looking forward to the album. I know no worries of Noel's vocals and good songwritting, unlike Liam...
