Yeah magneto, this song is full of contrasts A joke of a singer singing to the sounds of the circus is not a contrast

"isn't it a pity that the sun is followed by the thunder and thoughts of going under" amazing. didn't he write something similar about 15+ years ago in 'some might say'. These are exactly the sort of lyrics that sound deep to retards but are essentially meaningless gunk and in dire need of Liam's voice to transcend their pseudo intellectual properties. Same goes for that "bottle/apostle" line the unwashed fake canadian quoted. Don't get me wrong this song isn't that bad. The melody is reasonably pleasing but oh dear, those lyrics and voice.... oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. *shakes head and hopes the rest of the album is an improvement*

tbf if the bdi/noel dick measuring is gonna extend to lyrics then neither party is gonna leave with much credibility.

As long as Noel doesn't, that's the main thing

Agreed. Although I love a few Liam songs (Boy With The Blues, Soldier On and Love Like A Bomb), his lyrics are dire. THERE WAS CAT (dun dun dun) HE WORE A HAT (dun dun dun) THE HAT WAS BLACK (dun dun dun) OH, WHAT A CAT

I hope he never explains to me that I am listening to a "song" or urges me to "sing along" ever again. WE FUCKING GET IT.

Nobody's quoting Liam's lyrics as though theyre anything special.
We've had a couple of retards quoting retarded lyrics as though they mean something. That's the difference.
Team BDi = Grounded in reality.
Team dwarf = Desperately trying to be something they're not.
Like I've said a few times, Noel's song is ok, but please don't pretend it's going to change the world. It isn't.
Just a reasonably catchy but ultimately forgettable three minutes of jangly guitars.

Noel's song isn't as bad as I made it to be. Was curious and listened to it again a few times. Good song, nothing special but good. 6.5 to 7/10 or something. Who honestly gives a fuck about the lyrics though? Noel's lyrics obviously are better than Liam but he ain't exactly a Bob Dylan or Leonard Cohen either. Fucking /careface though, it's all about the music. If Noel's record is good I might leave Team BDI and become a neutral. If it his bad I'm going to force him to spend a day with Chuze and talk about kids. Plus the 150 additional photos

It's a song Liam couldn't have sung tbh he'd have sung it a lot better than noel has. it's such a boring vocal and the main thing that drives this song down.

Disagree there. I reckon with Liam on vox, Lord Don't Slow Me Down was banging!! Don't really have a problem with Noel singing, just prefer Liam's voice.
As for 'Death Of..' I don't reckon Liam's vocal would've suited the song much. I'm liking it a bit better with each listen, about 7/10 is a fair rating. I'll be interested to see how it works in the context of the whole album.
