Seriously,
In the whole soapbox history. I never heard any praise or anyone fans of the Foo Fighters. While my interest in Foo Fighters faded when Pat Smear left or pretty much after "There's Nothing Left To Lose" album. My interest Picked up after Skin and Bones live album. Maybe because Pat Smear re-joined.
hits: "All My Life" "Best of You" "Everlong" "The Pretender" "My Hero" "Learn to Fly" "Times Like These" "Monkey Wrench" "Big Me" "Breakout" "Long Road to Ruin"
New Album Wasting Light is one there better albums in a long time.. I personally rank it 3rd best...
Latest single is " Walk"
Dave wrote "Walk" sitting on the floor writting by the coffee table and saw his daughter starting to walk. Hence where how the song Walk came from.
The album The Colour and the Shape one the top 25 best albums of the 90's in my opinion. Many of you might not like Foo Fighters or their sound, but Dave Grohl is amazing artist. He could easily just joined The Heartbreaker and be apart of Tom Petty's band instead the Foo Fighters.

not a fan but they do have some amusing videos and Grohl seems not to take himself too seriously and comes across as a decent enough guy

seen em live a few times. brixton academy. before they become this monster stadium mtv juggernaut. kinda were even then actually but still played brixton bless em. good band. bit meat & 2 veg. certainly not legends or anything. agree that colour and the shape is class. no way have they come close to beating it sadly.

They are a good in a 'I don't really like guitar music but I like foo fighters' kind of way.
Everlong is a great song though.

They've got 3-4 passable tunes but the rest is MOR rawk-ballad wank. The American equivalent of Stereophonics.

fucking hell, their first singles were the best I''ll stick around and This is a call. alone and easy target was great after they were fucking rubbish. didn't like the 2nd record whatsoever then. used to have the first 2 albums on cassette tape. years before i ended up getting the cd's. hyde park gig is a rocking dvd. like the skin & bones acoustic set that also comes with the dvd. all my life - me favourite choon of the 00's.

I liked the 1-2 of Generator then Breakout back in the crazy summer of 2000, and some of the early singles were good, but generally they're paaaaainfully dull. A real Gary Neville band, I bet he loves them.
