What's the shame in knowing people from the internet anyway ? tbh I don't think much of it now, but back in 2003/04 I definitely did feel one. Plus now various soapboxers have met various friends of mine, so if I then started saying "actually I've known these guys off the internet" then they'd know I was lying about it before. They might think I was hiding something weird and seedy, like some place where sex pictures of old women, links to bestiality forums, driving members to suicide etc reign supreme instead of a place like this. IT'S JUST EASIER THIS WAY |

I just find it weird. Always have. When I met davey I told everyone he was from the soapbox, and I said to my mate the other day "sully from the soapbox wants a pint at oyster bar some time this summer - you up for it?" AND IT GOES DOWN JUST POIFECTLY. (SAME WHEN I MET BYRAM AND LEANNE BTW - BUT SHE DIDN'T WANT ME TO TALK ABOUT THE FORUM WHEN I WAS NEAR THEM BECAUSE SHE HAD A FRIEND WITH HER) |
