Everyone just said they were a Nirvana ripoff when they came out which lead to them making a more acoustic second record which was shit. Should of just carried on, big album I still enjoy giving it a blast every once in a while.

Too bad I can only think of songs with sounds that Noel ripped off . Theres not that much Oasis inspired music around. This one has Oasis written over it so blatantly.. the guitar sounds, the ''all the young dudes bit''. Fucking tune. Mind you i always thought of the Realies as a band that had the overall sound down. huge fucking guitar sound at times, but they cant write a song. Except for this one and a handful of otehrs. imagine this with Liam on vocals  |

Eurythmics came out as big Oasis fans about ten years back, and had a couple of Oasis-y tunes on their last record. I think Annie Lennox even said they just wanted to write an Oasis album You can hear their influence in there, but her drippy lyrics ruin the illusion somewhat |

I saw the real people supporting OCS I dunno 7 years ago or something. They did two new songs in the middle of their set that they said would be on their next album. They were the two biggest Oasis songs I've ever heard one sounded as stadium sized as don't look back in anger. Fuck knows if they ever got released. Last thing I heard about them was that they had got a young good looking singer in so they would appeal to a younger crowd |

I remember a song called Soulless with a singer that sounded like Noel, it was leaked as an Oasis track. And there was another fake attempt being an And you will know us... song, it was quite good too.
