The versus are better than the chorus, and deffo got a The La's vibe to it at some point

not even arsed about hearing it to be honest. does he sound as bored on this as he has on everything else in the last 9 years?

I like that he finally found a way to get the word "sunshine" into one of his songs.

it's kinda sorta decent. once again, the vocals are so fucking weary. i don't give a shit if everyone else is saying it, this would be so much better with liam, it's absurd. noels vocals sap the life out of anything.

Yeah the ''baby here - baby there'' bit at 2.30 is great as well, baring in mind its not actually noel singing but an oompa loompa. or he's in fact singing it from inside his own arsehole. (see what i did there)
Best thing is the outro I guess.. only what? the 27th time he used that in a song?

Just heard it, listened to it twice already which is once more than I've heard the single. Noel by numbers - terrible singing, horrible backing vocals, banal lyrics and a melody which seems to be lifted from someone else's song.
Quite enjoyed it though.

Decent enough song, terrible vocals. I swear, Noel sang better on his b-sides to Definitely Maybe.
It sounds like Noel's singing abilities have regressed since the last Oasis album whereas Liam has gotten a million times better.

TBH the b-sides to DM were slow acoustic ballads. Something like this is much harder to pull off

Cool, but why'd you put that as a response to Noel's singing?

Decent enough for a b-side but as said before: Noel by numbers. I don't think Noel has a powerful enough vocal to pull off the chorus "Rain" bit and comes across whiny.
Slightly better than The Fame.

Surprised by how many people like this on first listen. I'm sure it could grow, but to me it's fucking boring. Certainly would be substantially better with Liam singing.
