its a top tune, by now people surely know what a noel gallagher song is gonna sound like. and i like his songs. its not perfect and, yep it does sound like it was written for and would benefit from liam being on it, but doesnt change the fact its a good song.

I think I'm just as tired of people complaining that a song would sound better with Liam as I am of actually hearing a Noel sung song that would sound better with Liam...
But this one is so clearly a fit for Oasis with Liam on vocals. Too bad we never get to hear it as somewhere in there there's a very good song. The verses proves it if nothing else.
It does show though that I rather sit at a Noel solo gig where he strums his guitar than stand and listen to him belt out some "rockers". Simply because that's what suits him the most and when he nails it he is still a very good songwriter and can still touch the soft spot in my soul.

A Liam vocal would have propelled this from a nice song into a brilliant song. Quite sad really

Stop by the spice girls would be better if Liam sang it
same with every backstreet boys songs.
and what about Creed? Liam on vocals and they would have been better than the beatles.
I want the world to be sung by Liam Gallagher.

I agree that it was kind of predictable & a sound he's done on a good few occasions but a good song is a good song and that is a good song so I give my thumbs up to the good song because it is a good song. Yep. In fact it has that instant HC charm that even made Karl admit he liked it on first listen, who cares about next year. The truth is he's coming with some of the most Oasis sounding songs in years, and with a great quality imo. The other thing is I tend to find them too predictable and that will reduce the impact. classic times, thrilled to be alive.

Should anybody release that album nowadays I'd know the majority of it was shit on first listen.
