a song, wont tell you which, came on shuffle today and it was amazing and reinforced to me just how good a voice Liam has/had (leave the argument to another thread please). And it got me thinking, just what was Liam Gallagher's best ever vocal on an Oasis song???
Live Forever - a song that really got the attention with an effortless delivery of a vocal that just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Or something like Slide Away - a love song of sorts but with a real intense vocal from Liam. I remeber when I first got DM it was this track that I played to death. Maybe a more tender song like Rockin Chair? Or the venomous spitting out of Rock n Roll Star??
So lets hear you're nomination of Liam's best ever vocal and why. In a weeks time I'll put the top 5 (or whatever) into a poill to see that the forum thinks

scorpio rising. or rockin' chair. because no vocalist in history could have produced 2 such contrasting, incredible and genuine performances.

Rockin' Chair but Underneath the Sky is close solely because of his delivery in the verses.

early era - Slide Away / Rockin' Chair / Live Forever
mid era - The Girl in the Dirty Shirt / Stay Young
later days - Scorpio Rising / Go Let It Out / Let's All Make Believe
and for the sake of comparison, I'd wager his worst vocal (on a major release anyway) is The Hindu Times. It's been said before, but Noel fucking butchered what could have been a great song with his cartoonish production.

pretty much the ones you lot named, i'd add Who Feels Love and Born on a Different Cloud. Worst vocal for me is wonderwall, ironic since its the song that got me into them when i was a young lad. Will always be a special tune but the voice is too much
edit: its good to be free, amazing vocal as well
