I've heard some bits of them before but I'm seeing them on Friday so I've finally sat down to listen to some records. The truth is could easily imagine myself falling for them 3 or 4 years ago, they have lots of ingredients that I used to dig. Nowadays I find them merely entertaining, but I reckon they are more under the radar than what they should.
So yeah, any fans or haters?
Can see myself joining their cause after Friday.

It seems they're only loved by famous (Springsteen, Stephen King, Nick Hornby) and Spain. It's worthy of an investigation tbh

I was close of doing the same, but I didn't want to sabotage my own thread

I'm currently listening to their universally considered worst album, a failed department from their alt-country + Replacements roots. It was produced by Owen Morris in 2002 and it would have a deserved place on the ladrock thread tbh
