6/10. Was it just me or did the acting (particularly Jay) seem incredibly wooden? Aye Jay's acting was well off, it trampled over half of his lines, very bizarre. Also turning up in those giant hoop earrings? It wasn't exactly shark-jumping but Fonzie was definitely browsing the wetsuit aisle at this point. Those things aside I thought it was rather decent though, the good thing about the show is there's nothing particularly intricate about it so can brush off it's miss-steps a hell of a lot easier than something like the Royle Family which has completely destroyed the integrity of it's characters and can't ever recover. Oh and the ballbag: Cheap, witless and obvious, but I was bent double laughing  On a sitcom related tangent, anyone watch Grandma's House on BBC2? |

Jay's a cunt. I met him once thinking he'd be like series 1 Jay but he's a boring wanker.
1st episode was alright though, never really hit the highs of the 1st series but still had its moments. The quick preview clips of the rest of the series look decent.

Anyway i thought it was a decent first episode, the ballbag saved it from being pretty mediocre to be honest, but i have faith it'll pick up. BTW the kid in the wheelchair was a fucking cunt, can't wait to see what happens to him. |

Thought it was rolling along quite nicely till the ballbag stuff which I found a bit shit. Can see why everyone liked it and I would imagine they half arsed the first half and put all thier chips on the ballbag stuff to deliver a funny episode. Encouraging episode. 7/10 this |

Funny thing was from Facebook it looked like he went all 3 nights and got grief off Essex people all 3 nights |

I think so. I had a few pictures come up and each time he had different garb on suggesting either he went three nights or changed into different outfits during the course of one night. It's probably the latter the prima dona fucking cunt.

Yes but that doesn't mean the actual writing for the show is witless etc, but for that gag it was, was my point Seen the preview for next week, where they go to their first gig with Simon decked out like a premium Topman douchebag, an episode no doubt inspired by real life Jay getting the frighteners put on him by CM Punk at Oasis. Hoping for some class A music satire, like the stuff eddie_murphy writes in the music section |
