The episode highlight for me was Jay and Neil's logical conversation about the car going in the lake.
Jay's become such a hero this series. He was always good but I really want him to win at life with this series.

yeah did seem a strange end to the series, they raised a few questions which i persume were supposed to be cliffhangers but really who the fuck watches the inbetweeners for the plot? Isn't like fools & horses where they can throw in an emotional storyline, it's all about the giggles so to hint at something with Jay and then the simon/carly thing just seemed a waste of time.
Good series anyway, series 3 always when the backlash hits big & they've survived it for me.

They blatently had no idea how to end it. It was alright though. Shame they suggested Jay was molested. Why is there a need for that kind of thing? 99% of character's on tv have been molested these days. It's not funny and spoils the character. Fucking dicks. Been molested much? Thought the episode was good tbf. Admittedly the storyline was a bit wonky but who actually cares about that? It's all in the jokes and the way the characters interact with each other and from that point of view it's gone down a treat, for me anyway. Nearly burst out laughing on the bus yesterday as I remembered the Simon climbing into Carly's little brothers room scene. Had me in stitches. It may be all over too quickly but with the real daddy coming back next month in the form of Peep Show I'm not too fussed. It's going to be epic. |

right, finally got round to downloading this. I left Blighty just after series 1 started apparently and only now just started to watch it. love it. Just sat with the bird and watched the first 4 episodes and pissed myself at it. Cannae believe it's taken me this long

Series 1 & 2 are brilliant, series 3 is also good but not as good as 1 & 2. I felt like it wasn't quite the same. I hope they do the film and then just leave it.

watched the first series and a half over the past 2 nights. It's quality, some of Jay's patter is genius
