Waitwaitwait...beady eye didn't change their setlist for months before they threw us a bone with wigwam. Let's maybe wait more than a week before we say everything is Noel's fault foreverandever.

the reason they are not playing a diverse set list is that the band only knows so many songs. how many songs can you rehearse?

Falling Down? Waiting for the Rapture? The Fame would be fucking mental. or Flashbax or fucking Step Out!!

big "muddy" sound. Jeremy Stacey is a horrendous drummer; even worse than Zak Starkey. It sounds like he is bashing on pots and pans with a wooden spoon. horrendous? Zak Starkey isnt a good drummer? it's rock n roll. you want them to play free jazz or something??

this stacey is fairly tasty i think. better than starkey for sure. from experience i know how hard it is. so i'd never class starkey as bad.

I went both nights and he wore the same clothes both nights ( ). But I thought both shows were fucking great. LOVED the arrangement on Talk Tonight (especially Rowe's swirling piano outro). Would be nice if he tweaked the setlist, but I'm guessing those are the songs they rehearsed and the other guys in the band just don't know them. Shit excuse, but I'm sure that's the reason. Also, got to briefly chat with zfiddy. Legend. (Sorry I didn't get a chance to chat longer; that guy in front of you in line was one of my best friends and I hadn't seen him in 5 years. The last time I saw him, I had punched him in the face . no worries man! Good seeing you!

Went to both gigs as well, and although I enjoyed both nights I agree with bampot on many points.
The main set is great, but loses momentum big time after What a Life (aside from Half the World Away and maybe Stranded on the Wrong Beach). Soldier Boys and Broken Arrow... meh. I'm not a huge fan of their rendition of Talk Tonight, they don't seem to do it justice for whatever reason. Supersonic, Dream On, Mucky Fingers, EOTR, IIHAG are all brilliant and major highlights. Freaky Teeth I'm undecided on. One review I read suggested it's nothing Arctic Monkeys couldn't do better and I completely agree.
The encore is perfect. Never thought I'd say it, but LBL is actually brilliant - live anyway. I guess it's just a bit more fresh having not seen him perform it since 2002.
I'd be happy to never hear Wonderwall live again, ever. I get that he has to play it though for the non-fans/girlfriends.
Seeing him live really makes me wish RM had been recorded and released as an Oasis song with Liam singing. Seems a waste of potentially an absolutely epic song, had it been done correctly. Utterly castrated both on the record and live. Had it been arranged and recorded properly it would have been the perfect main set closer. Wish it had been an OTT epic BHN-esque affair on the record with multiple solos as we were originally promised.
They also just need a better lead session guitarist (or give it all to Noel as suggested) and just more surprises -- more Oasis rockers -- or dare I suggest even a cover. Noel probably needs to play more solos to make things a little bit more exciting. Come to think of it, most of what they're lacking, Beady Eye seem to have and vice versa. No surprises there...

Is there a trumpet solo when they do ''Soldier Boys''?
edit: or whatever that instrument is. Saxophone, flute, enema
