Danny Dyer has signed up for a permanent role on Casualty.
The Age of Heroes actor will play a paramedic in the BBC One medical drama, PA reports.
The 34-year-old, well known for presenting Danny Dyer's Deadliest Men, has started filming in Cardiff.
His first episode will air in January, when the long-running series returns after a Christmas break to coincide with the show's move to the Welsh capital.
