Saw Prince live this summer, one of the greatest gigs I've ever seen. He played for 2-3 hours, played all the hits, got people up on stage during If I Was Your Girlfriend, Kanye West jumped out on stage during the same song. Mental show, the energy, the songs, the falsetto, the musicianship, just amazing, can't praise it enough.

Never was a big fan, but can't deny he was an Artist with capital letter. Semirecently I discovered When You Were Mine, which is probably my fave of him since.

He was out here few years ago and I always said Id go see him but the tickets were about $200 and I blanked it. Raging now as he was pretty much top of my too see list. From what ive heard and seen he put on an amazing show and is probably the most under rated guitarist |

Got free tickets to see Prince about 2 years ago at the arena. Turned up ridiculously late as we'd all been out on the lash and only got the freebie quite late on. Saw 1999, little red corvette and the closing song Purple Rain. Feel like a right dick now for turning up stupidly late and stupidly wasted. Arggggghhhh, thought he'd live forever.
