haha, I'd be tempted to buy it but I'm not sure I want to own a super deluxe version of any album, let alone this one.

I ordered it on release and got rid of it half a year later when I noticed loads of people were selling it. Ordered it again now and will probably never open it Who knows, maybe I'll get a sudden urge to hear "The Turning, alternative mix 4" one day.

For regular albums they are completely idiotic when you think about it. And boxes with collected work and alternative versions and what have you are of course ridiculous as well, but certain stuff is just too appealing for some reason. Dylan's bootleg series, those cigarette boxes with singles, the jesus and mary chain box with all the b-sides and rarities, cant help but want it.

Yep, I was a compulsive box buyer too. I have that DOYS box and only opened it the day it came.
