Horrors

Gonna be seeing them twice in the space of three days next month, Skying is a superb album. Has really grown on me with time even though I liked a lot of it on early listens.

They're awesome. I dismissed them years ago, though, I thought they were a teen goth band or some shit.

Probably been my favourite band for a few years now. Seen them 3 times live and they just keep getting better and better. I actually rate the first album, ignoring the image and hype around that time its just an old fashioned garage rock album. Love the new album but id still put Primary colours ahead of it.

They're probably the most exciting band going around at the moment, have no clue where are they going next.

They should make some documentary explaining all the geeky intricacies of their sound, I'm sure on their music there are a lot things happening that go unnoticed, specially how they obtain some guitar sounds...

Skying is fucking shit.

But yet you like BDI.

Skying is all production, it's a pretty empty album really, that said primary colours has some great tunes, they aren't a great band at all though, and despite good press they've not really broken through commercially. I've a ticket to see them on Tuesday but I'm entirely unexcited by it.

I tend to agree with this, Skying rings really hollow to me as well, my brain understands that all the songs are good but is somehow unable to actually give a fuck at any point during the record.

Band of shit goth kids who all of a sudden wanna get cool and try to be Neu! Awful band. Basically it's the same try hard pish that's been coming out of the UK for like almost a decade now.

Yeah, there's been so many bands that have the same sound of the Horrors who have come out of the UK in the last decade

Not saying their sound isn't a bit derivative because it is, but fuck me you know nothing about anything do you?

Good band with a handful of really brilliant songs. Seeing them on Monday, really looking forward to it.
