Really glad for Noel that his album is a roaring success. Still in the top 10 after 5 months. The problem is not counting 3 classic Noel songs its shit.

While its no modern day classic (see pj Harvey's last record) its certainly an amazing record that I still listen to.
Just goes to show how powerful and respected Noel Gallagher is. He really is the fucking chief.
And in contrast there is Liam Gallagher with a failed album, who will be remembered for whoring his man city allegiance to promote his album and slapping pretty green stickers on everything in fucking sight.
Noel has been carrying Liam in Oasis for the best part of 10 years, all while being incredibly generous by allowing him to write songs now and again.
Honest question, did anyone really think beady eye would compete with Noel Gallagher?
He has destroyed them.

Honest question, did anyone really think beady eye would compete with Noel Gallagher? He has destroyed them. the album was better. it sold more. oasis songs in the live set. agreed he kicked arse. he's still a cold fish though.  |

Lets not forget Beady Eye didn't make your top 20 albums and you've never made any reference to going and watching them.
Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if Noel sells another 400-500k this year with the NME Awards, Brits, rumored playing below The Stone Roses at V and all the other gigs, festivals and shit. Its just a massive shame he felt the need to constantly play the media (You cant expect anything from me! You wrote Live Forever you dick) and did it with an album with a second half that's shockingly bad. I honestly think people pick up that album and are chuffed it's a safe, comfortable MOR album.
The playing the media, cosying up to The Sun gossip columnist, acting like a dick, always wearing shit leather jackets and wanting his gigs to be full of coples and squares is also a bit sour.

This whole thing is about how horrible Beady Eye's album was. Its a laughing stock man ;D Awful awful album. Even though Noels had only 3 great songs it by his standards it sounds like Mozart in comparison. Pretty Green is already a joke label, bought by 30 year old chav's who still waste their wage on shit coke. Liam is destroying his legacy with every passing day and its sad to see. The biggest truth in the whole Oasis break up is Noel kept his head, Liam buried himself.

Jimmy was doing so well to keep away from this  first he deleted his account in anger, then he announced he was above this whole episode but now he's back still trying to convince himself that team Liam hasn't destroyed him. It's a sickness, it's a disease. I'll try to help Jimmy out, I know deep down he is a good person. I'll try to have a chat about Springsteen with him, see if he can take his mind away from the darkness. Must hurt to know that the two people you champion the most (Noel & the fake American bird) have both released hugely disappointing albums. I'll help him out guys, what Jimmy needs is love.
