It feels so calculated doesn't it. As if he half expected his flying birds to flop so he could make a record that would have critics saying how brilliant he was when he did something different but now he's sold a load of arena tickets with a set consisting of 50% Oasis songs he doesn't want to release it in fear that it won't make as much money as the first record.
Bet he wants to make the next record sound as much like the flying birds as possible now. No ambition, just a lazy middle age rock star that only does anything for money these days. He can give it the 'I forgot how bad arena's are' in his little blog but we know what he really means is how much he wishes he was in a stadium rather than an arena.
Horrible cunt. Thank god Liam has kept his dignity throughout this pathetic episode ;D

Pretty disgusting innit. Specially cos it's not surprising at all. Only the results of that album will defend him from this kind of decisions.
It's obvious he didn't have all the control on it, but thought it was a cool idea to let other people play with his songs. The result was probably mediocre (in his eyes) so he has decided to improve (scrap) it. In a perfect world it would work, he has total control but there's an amalgam of new ideas and innovative production. The probable situations are it will never be released or it will be safe as fuck.

It will be a dumbed down version that is released so the masses will buy it. Sardy will be involved so he can knock all of the life out of the songs.

HELLO to all the Noel haters round here still bitching about him you're fascinating . a whole bunch of fucking TARDS, let me tell you Im one of the biggest Noel fans on here but its obvious whats happened. He's lost his bottle and is making a commercial decision rather than an artistic one. He said the album was finished at the first press conference, he's now backtracked cos he doesnt want to release it now.

Ive done the unthinkable and sold my ticket for Newcastle on Thursday. Got £50 quid for it. Seen him already at Manchester apollo which wont be beaten in a souless arena full of knobs. I know I'll hate the people there, the gig in Manchester was great cos it was full of Oasis die-hards in a tiny venue and the atmosphere was class, the majority of the arena tour will be full of 'If i had a gun' fans. Dont finish work till 6 aswell, back in 7 the next morning. Fuck it. He better not duet with Chris Martin on Tuesday at the Brits or i'll be asking my fellow Team Noel trooper Axl if the fight has been worth it.

you've probably made the right choice but the arena will be full of casual oasis fans, not 'if I had a gun' fans, surely?
I enjoyed the forum gig, small venue (actually small, not manc apollo small), was very drunk. I'd not do it again though.

You did the right thing Jimmy.
Hearing supersonic acoustic was enough for me never to want to see him again.
