Can we expect any sort of archival Oasis releases; BBC Sessions, etc? "Oh yeah, I had a meeting about that the other day. Some shit they wanna put out. Can’t tell you any more than that, though. There’s nothing in the vaults that you wouldn’t have heard already. There’s no unreleased stuff. Or there might be one song, in fact I know there’s one song, but Liam’s not singing it so it doesn’t really count." Full interview: www.fasterlouder.com.au/features/31446/Noel-Gallagher?page=1Doesn't say what type of release exactly but sounds like we're gonna get some new stuff

It's nice to see that Noel acknowledges that an Oasis song without Liam's vocals is not of any merit.
I'd bet either live or BBC sessions. Can't see it being any pre DM stuff as I doubt Noel would ever want people to hear that. We can dream that it's the DIV sessions but I reckon it'll be a predictable release.

I don't think they will put any interesting stuff unless Noel changes his mind and takes complete control of the release, probably in 2023.

The oasis anthology - featuring those 5 songs from 1989 that we all paid $1000 to get a few years ago and gave to Noel's office, even though they had them already anyway!

"we" being a relative term, of course.

I guarentee nothing will be released that hasn't already been available on bootleg form for years. It's Noel, and it's Sony. The most predictable man on the planet meets the world's dullest record label. A match made in compilation hell.
If Sony put me in charge, I'd release the best live shows, like the Dylan Bootleg Series - stuff like the Windsor Old Trout from 94, Den Bosche 97 etc. Imagine those shows remastered. Would be mindblowing.
I'd then pay messrs McCarroll, Bonehead, Guigs and Liam £10,000,000 each to reform The Rain and re-record a massive version of Take Me.

The thread should really be called 'Noel confirms there's no material for an Anthology'.

Liam’s not singing it so it doesn’t really count Amorphus Androgynous album title sorted
