Are there are any songs you hate? I don't mean tunes you're just not a fan of and would never go out of your way to listen to, but things which make you want to kill everyone in the world (in a bad way) and smash up your radio? Obviously there are plenty of terrible tunes in the charts these days, but there are some songs by "credible" bands or artists which fill me with rage. For example, I heard Purple Rain by Prince for the first time in a while yesterday and was immediately incandescent, not only is it unsufferably cheesy and annoying, it has the outright cheek to go on for about 3 days.

The only song in the world that makes me want to murder baby kittens is Have a Noce Day by the Phonics. Anything charty I can ignore and none of it pisses me off as much as that

Coldplay's Viva La Vida (hate most of their stuff but they have a couple of good tunes, like U2. the majority is shit though.)
Why I hate that song is because it's a complete rip off of Alizeé's J'Ai Pas Vingt Ans. And I can't get around it whenever it gets played somewhere.
It's not charming like Oasis rip off of Get It On. It's just annoying.
