What are their other albums like?
I'm familiar with Lazer Guided Melodies and Ladies n' Gents which are absolutely brilliant. I've never bothered to check out the other stuff though.
FAKE EDIT - Just realised I also have Amazing Grace sat in my collection, must have only listened to it once though because I really can't recall it.

Get Let It Come Down. I'd say the new one, ladies & gents and let it come down sound like a trilogy together.
Let it come down has always been my favourite spiritualized record. The highs on Ladies 'N Gents are definitely higher but let it come down just knocks me out start to finish.
I realised a few days ago I've never heard Pure Phase & I've no idea how this escaped me.
Never been keen on amazing grace much, bit of a misstep if you ask me. Songs in A&E had it's moments in places but overall a bit disappointing.

pure phase is amazing in the right time and place. when it first came out I hated it, I'd already got versions of nearly half the songs on different EPs and I thought he'd ruined them and gone mad or something, but I was wrong.

can't wait to see them live, it's been exactly ten years since i saw BRMC open for them. It's going to be magic.

Gutted i've got into this new one after they've played Manchester :-(
They sounded brilliant at the Apollo a few years back when they played ladies and gents in it's entirety.

announced new tour dates today for november. will be seeing them in cambridge.
didnt enjoy them much when i saw them at latitude a couple of years back but think i wasnt in the right mood for their music and also they were touring songs in a and e i think which wasnt the best album.
really looking forward to this tour though as i get the feeling on the right day spiritualized could be phenomenal live, and this new material should sound great too

brilliant album, even if it skates along self-parody through the entire record keep playing it on repeat.

The intro into Hey Jane is my second favourite music moment of the month
