lineup announced tonight at 9pm
apparentl the manchester evening news have already leaked some of the lineup and stone roses and the killers are headlining with noel gallagher and happy mondays on the lineup also.
dont care whatever the other shit is thats announced, that is enough for me to make it a decent weekend especially as i missed out on heaton park tickets.
gonna return to vfest for the first time since verve smashed it in 2008, who's with me.

I'm with you jp.
The king of festivals.
Killers are a shocking choice to headline though.

tbh if there really was nothing else on any of the other stages id be ok with the killers. last time i saw them was at v in 2004 when they had a 30min set on one of the small stages, so ive not suffered the overkill with them.
bound to be something decent on elsewhere though, normally the 4th stage headliners at v are decent but not announced til later on. in recent years theyve had charlatans, british sea power and pete doherty all do it. anything like that would do.

Are you not a Killers fan Dave? aside from the fact that a coked up brandon tried to pull my bird in about 2003or4 (despite him being on record as not doing drugs or groupies cos hes a mormon) its fair to say that I'm not a massive fan of the band.

I'd rather the clint boon experience play than the carpets tbh. I probs won't make it for Olly. I saw Girls Aloud the year they played a small tent. Got down the front to cause havoc and it was full of homos. I moon walked out quick sharp. Another great V memory

i saw girls aloud in 08 but it was on mainstage, still good though.
missed them the year they were in the tent as they clashed with someone good, think it was bloc party or beck.
