I think that was the first year Rifles played. I've still got a video on my old phone of me, Karl, Balldog and the Swede getting big to Local Boy in a crowd full of squares.

just had a look on the v facebook page and all the chavs are going apeshit cos theres no chase and status or jesse j. loads of comments like "this festival is more suited to my gran" or "isnt this the v2001 lineup" lololol
fucking love v, theyve come back to what they know xxx
is clearly gonna be the venue for the oasis reunion in 2015 too

They do multi year deals apparently. They sign up to do 3 out of 5 years or something. You would imagine this is the end of the Kasabian, killers and snow patrol cycle. They sell out every year regardless, they could put anything on tbf.

Obviously I'd enjoy the stone roses and a sing along to the proclaimers would be fun. There's nothing else interesting on the Saturday at all. It's the squarest festival line up ever.
