My favourite albums of 2013: 1 Nas - Life Is Good2 Kendrick Lamar - Good Kid, Maad City3 Future Of The Left - The Plot Against Common Sense4 Spiritualized - Sweet Heart Sweet Light5 Every Time I Die - Ex-Lives6 Blood Red Shoes - In Time To Voices7 The Weeknd - Trilogy8 Pulled Apart By Horses - Tough Love9 Frank Ocean - Channel Orange10 Deftones - Koi No Yokan11 Jake Bugg12 Death Grips - The Money Store13 Lana Del Rey - Born To Die14 Howler - America Give Up15 Big Boi - Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumours16 The Twilight Sad - No One Can Ever Know17 Feeder - Generation Freakshow18 Green Day - Uno!19 Spector - Enjoy It While It Lasts20 The xx - Coexist2012 was a good year for gigs for me, had never been to a festival abroad before and Benicassim didn't disappoint. Good year for hip-hop, Nas putting out a belter of an album (after Untitled being a bit gash and the Damian Marley collaboration being a bit boring) was a welcome surprise, such a good album. Blood Red Shoes continuing to get better with each record, good debuts from Jake Bugg and Howler. Disappointed with Gallows album and the overall lack of incredible albums over the course of the year, but still some great stuff released. Also, got big into Its Great When You're Straight Yeah, and the absolutely fucking brilliant Oddessey And Oracle by the Zombies Fit's this Goat sound like en? Any good?

I didn't understand how 2 albums can get the same amount of votes but a different number of points? How does that work? For example; 26 .- Killer Mike - R.A.P. Music - 37 - 2 27 .- Poliça - Give You The Ghost - 34 - 2 28 .- The School - Reading Too Much Into Things Like Everything - 33 - 2 29 .- Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti - Mature Themes - 32 - 2 30 .- The Twilight Sad - No One Can Ever Know - 32 - 2 31 .- Burial - Kindred EP - 31 - 2 32 .- Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All - The Of Tape Vol 2 - 30 - 2 33 .- Cat Power - Sun - 29 - 2 34 .- Guided By Voices - Class Clown Spots a UFO - 29 - 2 35 .- Crocodiles - Endless Flowers - 29 - 2 36 .- TOY - TOY - 28 - 2 37 .- First Aid Kit - The Lion's Roar - 27 - 2 38 .- Natural Child - For The Love Of The Game - 27 - 2 These all got 2 votes but don't all get the same number of points?? Sorry if I'm being stupid, I just don't get it

because if you are counting top 20's you give 20 points to number one and 1 point to number 20
Natural child could of been real low on the two peoples lists where as killer mike could of been number 2 on somebody elses.
nice list hepburn, good to see you still posting around here.

Goat is a Swedish psychedelic band with fuzzy guitars, tribal drums & women chanting vocals, it's something you've got to check out to know what it sounds like.
