Sorry if this has been a thread before... I couldn't find it if so.
What albums are left to come out this year? (Yes I realize it's only March).
I know the new Jack White record is out in April but I'm having a hard time thinking of who else got something coming out.
I tried a few different albums so far this year but artists I didn't really know before (Summer Twins, Boyfriend, Chairlift) but I can't say I was a big fan.. Cloud Nothings is the best of 2012 so far.

Not listened to many yet this year.
After the hardcore listening of only 2011 albums from October to December last year i've since been enjoying blasting through some older stuff recently.
What I have listened to though is -
Errors - Have Some Faith In Magic - very good Django Django - Self Titled? - also very good Sleigh Bells - Reign of Terror - extremely dull Burial - Kindred EP - Sensational

I've not heard a record which is more than a 7/10 so far this year. Tried quite alot of stuff but nothing has really caught my attention thus far.

I've not heard a record which is more than a 7/10 so far this year. Tried quite alot of stuff but nothing has really caught my attention thus far. Action Bronson and Party Supplies are dropping the 'Blue Chip' mix tape soon. It's nailed on to be 2012's first classic.

Heard so far: ringo (shit), macca (surprisingly not terrible for what it is) and just bought springsteen's new one, which I'm not holding out much hope for.
Awaiting: jack white, weller, and one or two others that aren't popping into mind right now. (Soundtrack of our lives and the hives both have new ones coming, don't they?)

On May 15, Best Coast will follow up their excellent 2010 debut Crazy for You with a brand new full-length record, The Only Place, via Mexican Summer. The record, produced by Jon Brion, is "grown-up" and "seriously emo," as frontwoman Bethany Cosentino told us in January. The album's title track pays homage to Cosentino's home state, California, as does its cover art, which was inspired by a piece of sheet music from 1913. According to a press release, the record's core comprises feelings of "uncertainty" and "self-doubt." The Only Place includes fresh recordings of several previously released Best Coast songs, including "How They Want Me to Be", posted to the band's blog last summer. Album closer "Up All Night" appeared on a limited edition 7" in 2010, in a downcast and blown-out mode. And the track "Dreaming My Life Away" came as an online bonus cut with the 2009 "Make You Mine" single. Best Coast have also announced North American and UK tour dates for April through July. JEFF the Brotherhood and Those Darlins will support the North American dates. Watch Cosentino perform "Up All Night" in 2010 after the tracklisting and dates. The Only Place: 01 The Only Place 02 Why I Cry 03 Last Year 04 My Life 05 No One Like You 06 How They Want Me to Be 07 Better Girl 08 Do You Love Me Like You Used To 09 Dreaming My Life Away 10 Let's Go Home 11 Up All Night I wanna love you, I wanna be a better girrrllllllll

I bet that Best Coast LP has one killer single & every other tune sounds exactly the same/just like the first album.

And The Darkness I think they new Graham Coxon one will be mediocre though. BRMC are on the studio too, but I doubt it will be released this year.
