Vivian Girls would would so much better if they had 17 more guitar tracks, an 18 piece Orchestra & maybe the sound of a chopper taking off.

 while driving yesterday on my way home, I came across We Should Never Have Children. Just rediscovered my love for Absentee's Schmotime. Dan Michaelson deep voice is just perfect, such a great album. His voice reminds me a lot of Leonard Cohen for some reason. |

Top band Absentee are (were?). I know Michaelson had some new band, not sure if Absentee have called it a day. The second record was ok but quite far behind in terms of quality of their EP & debut album. Were good live the times I saw them too.
