I put the Charlatans - Us and Us Only on today for the first time in ages, it went down a treat. Almost every song on there is them at their best.
Also, Rolling Stones - Goats Head Soup

Looking for a blank CD to burn some files into I came across the biggest gem of my generation, a burned copy of the Yankee Hotel Foxtrot Demos, never officially released, I had burned it years ago to give it to someone (never did obviously) and had completely forgotten about it. The files I had were lost when my last PC died, looked for them later on online but never found them anywhere, so, seriously, to come across this has truly made my year. It reminded me why YHF is my favorite album of all time; the demos and unreleased songs are absolutely stunning. I have a permagrin on my face now =]

I put on Automatic For The People the other day, forgotten how great that is, been listening and getting into all the older REM stuff over the past few years but that album is great and is definitely in their top 2 for me

I don't hate it, but its one of my least favourite albums of theirs, maybe the big songs have been played to death to much, I like Radio Song and Near Wild Heaven though, the rest I can take or leave. Haven't listened to it in years mind
