They are all really good records though.

think id go...
lost souls the last broadcast some cities kingdom of rust
really wasnt very keen on kingdom of rust. i remember being really into doves in the months leading upto that album and absolutely bumming the single, but the album left me very disappointed. have hardly listened to doves since actually. am sure il get back into them soon though as they tend to be one of those bands i go a long time without listening to then bum them again for a few months, maybe kingdom of rust will finally click with me then.

I've never really listened to their 3rd and 4th albums which is strange cos their debut's one of my favourite albums ever and the second one's very decent as well but the idea of listening to the other two's never grabbed me enough to actually give them a chance. I know for a fact that Black And White Town and the first 2 Tracks on Kingdom of rust are absolutely brilliant as well, they need to do some lines with Kate Moss for shallow cunts like me to listen to them I think

Don't know if I'll bother with the Royal Albert Hall gig but hopefully this will mean a new record down the line.

The waiting is over! In 2010 Doves announced an indefinite pause. Nothing lasts forever. Doves will break their hiatus to perform for the Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall, TCOTU on Friday 29 March 2019. Tickets go on sale Friday 9am. More announcements to follow.
For ticket info visit the Teenage Cancer Trust website.
After almost a decade away Doves have resumed live rehearsals and creative exchanges. DMB will of course follow the band through what promises to be an exciting 2019!
For the very latest breaking news, follow the band on social media Twitter / Facebook and their newly created Instagram
The official website is now live at dovesofficial.com
The old Doves web forum is incredible busy at its new home on facebook, feel free to join! The old web version is still online here.
Phew! Cya on the road.
That sounds promising, at the very least. Looks like they're supporting Noel on a few big dates in the summer as well, so I'm guessing a few festivals as well.
