initial impressions I liked Noel's record better. But months later, I much prefer Beady Eye's latest. A few classics in there.

Could you make a thread tomorrow telling us what colour socks you decide to wear?

I knew you'd come round in the end, macgruber. What tracks do you think are the classics? I can't get enough of Three Ring Circus. For Anyone leaves me cold though.

been listening to the album for the first time in ages last week, and it surprised me how much i still enjoyed it all the way through. standing on the edge of the noise is the only one i wanted to skip.

The BDI LP has some weak points - but its big hitters I still listen to time and time again. And as a record it SHITS on the last two Oasis albums, that's for sure. When was the last time any of you felt the need to stick on Dig Out Your Soul?

I've never heard Noel's album, only the singles (and probably not in their entirety as they were all so dull and grinding), but even then I wouldn't believe Noel could've put out anything better than Millionaire and The Roller. Just impossible.

The millionaire is probably the worst song connected with anything related to oasis ever. Its worse than the fucking quiet ones.

NOTHING is worse than the quiet ones. I still prefer Noel's album, but I'm also surprised by the staying power of the beady eye album. Thought I'd be bored by it by now, but aside from the excruciating 3 songs in the middle, still love the beginning and end.

the first two and standing on the shoulders of giants are better than it.

the first two and standing on the shoulders of giants are better than it. to much filler on it to surpass DBTT imo.
