Done another album this weekend, I'm full of so much creative spunk. Don't worry, it's not as fucked up as the last Jesus Abyss record, infact it's the greatest record I've ever made. Probably the 7th best album of the year thus far. 01: The Temple Of The Abyss [1:03] 02: The House That Jesus Built [3:32] 03: A Child Of The Thatcher Era [2:58] 04: According To John [3:27] 05: The Path Of The Righteous Man [3:25] 06: Thee Medway Poet [2:38] 07: Preaching In Texas [3:28] 08: Who Needs God? [3:34] 09: Forgive Me Father [1:29] The Jesus Abyss have returned with the second album ' Biblical Tales & Other Revelations'. After the failings & disturbing nature of the debut album, Biblical Tales sees the Abyss deliver an album soaked in religious beliefs, religious guilt & religious Doubt. Biblical Tales can only be described as a cross between Kid A, Untrue & early The Chemical Brothers. I was hesitant to give this a listen at first, considering how fucked up the first Jesus Abyss record was but i'm glad i gave it a go.
'According To John' is a tune, 'The Path Of The Righteous Man' is a banger, and the honesty of 'Forgive Me Father' touched me deeply.

Thanks for listening Johnny. The confessions of Forgive Me Jesus are all true, even about the dinner lady
