This might seem a little Dan-ish, but I was listening to Howl yesterday and during Promise I thought it could easily be a lost McCartney ballad. Then a pair more came to mind and from that point there was no turning back on this useless fake Howl cover record.

9 Restless Sinner - Richard Hawley
10 Gospel Song - Spiritualized
11 Complicated Situation - Bob Dylan
12 Symapthetic Noose - Oasis, electric version
13 The Line - The Horrors
Hidden: Open Invitation - Fleet Foxes
I usually find those kind of compilations extremely shit and dull cos the songs don't fit the artist or they take the safe way. But besides Johnny Cash and Lennon being dead, I certainly believe those artists would do a good work with those tracks.
