it was a par 3. he swung it round the trees and it landed just near the hole.  went with an old bloke round the road. he used to sit with him in the pub doing the crossword together. those were the days.  |

Golfs a great game but I know what you mean about the snobbery side of it. In Scotland it's not so bad but I was taken to a course in England once and it was horrific.

Yeah how is it selling out? If you have an afternoon off, the weather is nice but you can't go drinking and can't play any other high impact sports. What else should they be doing to keep it real?

There used to be some kind of world cup for Snooker, was really shit and nobody took it seriously.
I think the format would have to be the UK vs the world if it came back now. In 20 years time it'll probably be Asia Vs the world once they start to dominate.
